On March 25, 2020, Governor Tim Walz issued an Emergency Executive Order Directing Minnesotans to Stay at Home for a two-week period that will essentially start Saturday, March 28 and end on April 10, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.  This Stay-at-Home Order orders Minnesotans to stay at their home except to engage in certain limited activities.  Those limited activities include performing work in certain Critical Sectors defined in the order.  These critical services exemptions apply only to an individual’s performance of work duties that cannot be done at their homes or residences.

Sanford, Pierson, Thone & Strean is committed to serving our clients and our communities.  The essential legal services we provide exempt our workers, to the extent they cannot complete their work at home, to leave home to provide these services.

To that end, our office is open during COVID.  We will maximize our ability to serve you virtually during this two-week period as follows.  All Sanford, Pierson, Thone & Strean attorneys are equipped to work from home and will be available during the duration of the Stay-at-Home Order.  Our office will have limited personnel on site to ensure our continued uninterrupted services in this Critical Sector.

The most effective way to reach your attorney during this time is to reach him or her by email.  He or she will then connect with you to coordinate phone calls or virtual meetings.  If you call our office and receive our greeting, you will have an option to connect with your attorney by entering his or her extension.  Those extensions are listed below.  Rest assured, any voicemail message you leave at that extension will be immediately delivered to the attorney by email.
