Andrew J. Meyer
Andrew Meyer helps clients primarily in the areas of closely-held business law, real estate law and estate planning law. He is the chair of the firm’s estate planning and probate practice group. His clients include individuals, families, as well as business of various sizes and in various stages. Andrew frequently works with financial planners to ensure that a client’s individual estate planning goals are comprehensively addressed. Additionally, he has experience with the resolution of estate and trust disputes, probate and probate avoidance, powers of attorney and health care directives and wills.
Andrew Meyer grew up in Hopkins and Minnetonka, and is a graduate of Hopkins High School. After graduating from St. Olaf College, in Northfield, MN, Andrew attended the University of Minnesota Law School, graduating cum laude in 2011. In law school, he worked at the Ramsey County Public Defender’s Office for two years. After law school, Andrew moved to southwestern Minnesota to practice at a small firm doing a little bit of everything. Andrew joined Sanford, Pierson, Thone & Strean, PLC in 2015 and became a partner in 2020.
In his free time, Andrew spends time with his wife and daughters. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and golf. He loves traveling and photography.
